no question is a bad question!

As we started to create our stylesheets and actually get some forms to display on the web, we had some trouble getting all of our text boxes to allow type for text.  I believe this is because we made those boxes to be uniquely generated from the database ( like the primary key customer_id).  Anyways, i guess my question is what exactly are the files we need in the same directory?  We have most of our files in the same directory but I just wanted to make sure so that we can remove that situation as a possible problem.

project report

As we move forward with project 2, my group and I have decided to start typing up the report in order to get as much done as we can as soon as possible.  In project 1 we typed up a description of the company and the benefits of our database.  Will we have to type a different description or can we use the same one from project 1?  Also, will we have to describe benefits that are specific to getting the database onto the web or do we describe project 1 benefits as well?

re-use of templates

I was just looking over the project requirements and noticed that we are judged based on our ability to effectively re-use templates.  I looked in XSQL2 notes and I am still a little unsure as to what this means.  Is this something we have not entirely learned yet?

Can you make a folder or directory in jEDIT to save only your project files in it? I was fooling around with jEDIT the other day trying to figure out if i could but was unsuccessful. Anybody out there have any idea how to do this or if its even possible?

zip files for project

For the project, we are supposed to send in a zip file our hard copies or our sql code for creating the tables, inputting data, etc. When i made our database tables I put each insert in a different file, each table in a different file, and each modification in a different file. What im trying to say is that I have many many files in jEDIT that can be put in the zip file, rather than simply one for the create tables. Are we supposed to take all the sql file straight from sql and send them all to Prof. Gibson, or should i take all of the files and compile them into word and send you those via zip? I am a little confused as to this so any help would be awesome.

oracle question

I know we talked about this in class and it was even on a worksheet, but don't remember how to make the columns use the entire screen in SSH rather than wrapping the columns around? If anyone remembers how to do that please let me know. Thanks
